like an archaeologist...

we took turns to test ride the van. it runs silky and smooth :) i'm very confident about crossing country on this :) we'll see.

awww, i was thinking about the same thing, remember, i'm an expert when it comes to removing paint...

while shinya was using the modern tools...

i only used a scraper to peel off a huge decal on the body.

the original paint was blue. then someone put pearl eggshell white with those fresh lines. but then next owner threw down a brush painting in bright white tried to say "a brand new paint"...

ahhh! Very nice paint underneath. I love this van, and all your vans hahaha. I think you should take the letters on the front "Beauville" and rearrange and add letters to make it say "Bonneville"

I like that idea...perhaps a 'Bonneville' emblem is lurking in a wrecking yard on an old Pontiac?

You remind me of my time working on the California Railroad Museum project. There were several people assigned to do paint research on old railcars. Lot's of careful sanding and note taking to pass on to the painters in the restoration shops. Problem was...one of the researchers was color-blind...oops! (orstoh 7....I am not a robot...beep! I am not a robot...beep!...)
