goodbye, Niimie and hello Yaksa...

on the morning of Niimie's departure, team 80 is putting back the 1915 Indian on the lift.

さて、N美氏帰国の朝。1915年インディアンをリフトに戻すチーム80番。

空港にて。国籍不明感をかもし出すN美氏。

it is impossible for us to exaggerate the importance of this guy, our greatest teammate, one and only, Niimie!! we couldn't have and wouldn't have done the Cannonball without him. it's a tough race both physically and mentally, but somehow we found happiness in our hearts and enjoyed the whole experience rather because we are team 80!!

何度も言っているけど、何度言っても言い足りない。この方がいなければチーム80番は成り立たないし、きっとキャノンボールにも出場していなかったと思う。最高のチームメイト、N美氏。本当にありがとう！客観的に見ると肉体的にも精神的にもかなりタフなレースだけど、まったくそんな風に感じなくて毎回こんなに心から楽しめるのはチーム80番だから。N美氏のおかげです。

we received a visit from the nu metal /aggro metal band called Yaksa from Beijing, China. they had a gig in New York and then took route 66 all the way from Chicago to L.A. on motorbikes. their music is very powerful and aggressive but they were all gentle, polite and great people in person. above all, they are enthusiastic about motorcycles :D

空港から戻ると北京のメタル（ニューメタル、オルタナティヴメタル）・バンドYaksa（夜叉）の訪問を受ける。すっかりバンド仲間のように写真を撮ってみる。ニューヨークのイベントで演奏した後、ハーレーをレンタルしてルート66でシカゴからLAまで縦断したんだって。彼らのパワフルでアグレッシブな音楽とは対照的にとってもジェントルで礼儀正しく良い人達だった。何よりみんなオートバイが大好きというのが嬉しかった。
